Intro to Pole Dance

Intro to Pole Dance is a seductive and exciting introduction to pole dancing fundamentals. By the end of your first lesson, you will not only appreciate pole dance/fitness as a magnificent type of movement, but you will also understand how, when done regularly, it can help tighten and tone your body. You will gradually ease into this "new body movement," which will enhance your overall fitness and allow you to participate in any beginner pole dance class anywhere!

Attire; Shorts, tank top or sports bra, barefoot (beginners no heels), heels optional for pole dancers, soft knee pads advised for ALL TML lessons. Beginners should be barefoot or in foot undies, with NO oils or lotion. NO Rings or Bracelets.

Intro To Pole Tricks, Combos & Transitions

7:30pm - 8:30pm


This class is open to both newbies and seasoned students alike. In order to maintain a sense of muscular balance, we'll perform pole dance routines that equally train the left and right sides of the body. Each student will learn the basics of simple pole tricks and combos. We'll learn how to fluidly transition from one sequence to the next while dancing around the pole and in the air using new techniques. Break-out groups may be assigned in class depending on the group's degree of proficiency.

Attire;Shorts, tank top or sports bra, barefoot (beginners no heels), heels are optional for those who have taken pole dance classes, soft knee pads are highly recommended for ALL TML classes. Liquid Motion & Liquid Pole

Liquid Motion

Liquid Motion® primarily utilizes the floor as its classroom; working from the ground up. The Liquid Motion® method trains students, using floor work techniques that translate universally to all types of movement. Liquid Motion® is a methodology that can apply to any aspect of life; from everyday movement to technical dance vocabulary. This class teaches how to achieve a seamless and natural movement quality, by applying basic dance theory and sensual movement exploration.

Liquid Pole

Learn how to flow around the pole using Liquid Pole methodology that explores circular movements to help create seamless transitions between moves. We will build strength using combinations of holds on the pole and learn how to put them together into aerial sequences. This class will provide you with tools and ideas to explore your own movement and get comfortable with freestyle dancing, feeling your moves, and connecting with your body. This is an all-level class. Modifications and progressions will be provided as needed.

Booty Claps & Heel Clacks & Strip-Ah-Licious

Learn how to throw that thang back and add in a couple of clacks. This class is a combination of your favorite Twerk moves, Floor work and flirty Pole moves. Heels and kneepads are a must.

Bring layers of clothing to "peel" off sensually & seductively in this HOT pole dance, choreography based pole dance class. Strip-Ah-Licious is a mixed level fun and sassy class great for beginners or a seasoned poler.

Chair Sexy 101 is a mixed level class. Great for the absolute beginner or seasoned dancer. Chair Sexy 101 will cover seductive floor work, sultry Chair dance as well as some light pole work. Students focus on movement pathways that work both sides of the body, smoothly connect chair & pole dance transitions, and combine floor sexy techniques with sensual choreography.

In intro to basic 2, Gigi will introduce new variations on intro level spins and begin to build you toward climbing and inverting. This class is great if you have taken the intro class a few times and are ready to explore the next level of pole.

Exploring Burlesque

This series will use movements and techniques from all TML classes while fusing these skills into the diverse world of Burlesque. All studio apparatuses – including but not limited to pole – will be used while we learn, practice, and polish our various dance styles, adding in props, clothing, and overall “attitudes” to make it Burlesque. Pin-up, Vintage/Classic, Neo/Geek/Comedy, and Drag Queen/King are flavors we will dive into, focusing on individuality, group synergy, sensuality, and creativity.

Pole Conditioning and Flexibility

Conditioning doesn’t have to be brutal and flexibility doesn’t have to be boring!!! Join Melissa for dynamic, movement-based strengthening and flexibility exercises that will have you feeling stronger and more limber without leaving you exhausted and sore. In this all-level class, we focus on gaining upper body, core, and lower body strength while increasing mobility and flexibility. Modifications and progressions are offered as needed.
